The year is the fifth century. After the death of Emperor Ōsazaki (later known as Emperor Nintoku), who was praised as a sage ruler, a succession dispute breaks out between the first and second princes. The third prince, Mizuhawake, who deeply admires and loves his eldest brother, devises a certain scheme for the sake of his older brother. This is an extremely dark novel where BL is fine, mental illness is fine, and bad endings are fine! Also, while I write freely, I have no intention whatsoever of desecrating history, so I humbly ask for your understanding and forgiveness.
