Aoi is a high school second-year student with a rather attractive face, though otherwise quite ordinary. One day, disappointed with himself, Aoi took his own life. Just as he felt relief and a sense of liberation, thinking he would finally be free from this suffocation, he found himself in an unfamiliar world. Unable to escape, he wandered aimlessly while consumed by despair and self-loathing. —or so it should have been, yet for some reason, young men kept drawing close to him. The reason was unknown to Aoi: it lay in that world's standards of beauty and ugliness. This is a gentle yet cruel story of Aoi, who hopelessly both loves and hates himself, and of those who love such an Aoi.
