Looking Down on the Sun

Kazuaki learns through a friend that his close friend Fuku, who had been transferred to work far away, has returned. Shocked that Fuku didn't tell him directly, Kazuaki decides to call him. I'm not tagging the ending because it would be a spoiler. I'm really sorry if it's a trigger for you.
