Recently, apparently the works on "Naro" (a popular Japanese web novel site) have become boring/uninteresting.

Recently, interesting works on Narou have been decreasing. Of course, there are still many interesting works by veteran authors and even newcomers. However, looking at the overall trend, the newly created interesting works themselves seem to be declining. Not only in quantity, but the quality itself appears to be falling. Works with outstanding entertainment value and completion like Mahouka or Overlord are rarely seen compared to the past. Of course, there are still many wonderful works even now, but to my knowledge, about half of them are not ranked and are quietly posted on the site. Therefore, I have written this essay as I wish to reconsider writing activities to some extent.
