The era is Taisho. What is free love? She does not understand. Who does she love? Is his love correct? She loves him. Love is not one thing. Tossed about by various forms of love, she becomes aware of a love that will never bear fruit. Please note that this contains subtle GL elements. The author is not well-versed in Taisho culture, aristocratic society, and the like. If any contradictions or oddities appear, please read this as entirely fiction. I submitted this to a literary contest, but of course it was not selected, so I'm posting it here since it would be a waste. It was also published in a club magazine. Warning: Bad ending.
