While bewildered by this fact, I corrupted humans and, following the principle of "a demon that grants wishes over a god that doesn't save," I did charitable acts in place of the indifferent god and lived as a demon should. Before I knew it, several hundred years had easily passed. Then one day, a demon king subjugation army claiming to have received divine revelation from God burned down the village where they had been worshipping me as the "Demon Lord" and had faith in me.
