Just a little curiosity might change something. Human connections exist to feel warmth. Aida Asahi, who carelessly associates with people and makes a fuss whenever he hurts or is hurt by someone, is a habitual school skipper and troublemaker. Yet for some reason, his peers seem to find this appealing... He appears to be at the center of conversations, but from his own perspective, it's just calculated friendships. In such circumstances, Aida happens to come across Tsuchiya Ryo, the third homeroom teacher (the number of teachers who replaced each other due to troubles caused by Aida), sleeping in an empty classroom that doubles as a storage room—a room famous for skipping classes. Aida had found Tsuchiya, who seemed serious, difficult to deal with and had managed to avoid him. Then Aida discovers what appears to be a burn scar on Tsuchiya's neck. Tsuchiya, for his part, carries various troubles from his past. When Aida suddenly becomes interested in Tsuchiya, whom he had never cared about before, Tsuchiya finds himself being pushed around by the problem child Aida. In fact, Aida himself was suffering from family discord and had lost his place to belong.
