In the near future, humanity faced the brink of extinction due to a mysterious virus called "Eclipse." The infected are called "Shadows," and they rob humans of consciousness, repeatedly causing indiscriminate destruction. Aoi Kaede, one of the protagonists, has survived the battlefield as a sniper for the special forces unit "Artemis." She was a machine-like existence that abandoned her emotions and simply carried out her missions. However, one day, a chance encounter with Sakuraba Aoi, a newly assigned doctor, changes her world. Aoi resists Kaede's coldness, but notices the loneliness and wounds hidden within her, and gradually opens her heart. However, the battlefield mercilessly attempts to tear the two apart――.
