[Short Story] I Was Just Complaining a Little, Wasn't I?

One day, Marie, the young lady of the Earl of Stanley's household, carelessly dropped her wallet in town. Inside the wallet was a bank card. Worried that someone might find it and use it fraudulently, she hurried to the bank. At the bank, a female bank employee attended to her and promptly processed the necessary steps to prevent unauthorized use of the card. Relieved, she returned home, only to discover that the wallet she thought she had lost had actually been left in her room all along. Days later, when Marie went to the bank, a different male bank employee responded by saying, "I was not instructed to stop the card, so the card has not been stopped." Even when she asked for the female bank employee from yesterday to be called, she was told only that she was "out." Angered, Marie withdrew all her funds from the bank and closed her account. That same day, she complained about what had happened to her family and friends. Upon hearing her story, each of them began to take action...
