Red Eyes and Blue Eyes

A few years ago, Sion lost both parents in a carriage accident caused by a nobleman, and was taken in by a gruff shoe shop owner who has since employed him. One day while working at the shop as usual, Sion encounters a robbery. Sion casually repels the robber with a kick, and Ryan, who happened to be a customer at the time, witnesses this. Impressed by Sion's courage and audacity in confronting the robber, Ryan repeatedly tries to recruit Sion as his aide, but Sion continues to refuse, showing no interest. From then on, Ryan visits the shop once every few days, and Sion spends his days feeling bothered yet not entirely displeased by these visits. Sion comes to look forward to the stories Ryan tells him each time.
