A Bird That Commits Suicide: Fulmar

A Bird That Commits Suicide: Fulmar

うたう

Fulmarite is a newly discovered bird species found in the depths of the Amazon in recent years. In its juvenile stage, it has an appearance similar to a capybara, and has now become the third most popular pet after dogs and cats. During the juvenile period, it cannot fly, but shortly after reaching adulthood, it takes flight and dies by crashing its body against a cliff near its nest. Fulmarite in captivity utters a cry only once when it becomes an adult bird. That cry is human language itself. I am raising Fulmarite because I want to hear those words.
