As usual, Kakeru was playing the VR simulation game "Montomo!!～A New Life Together with Monsters～" when he suddenly found himself transported to a parallel world somewhat similar to the game, along with his fellow monsters!? All the money and items he possessed have disappeared, leaving him with only his starting equipment: a "Traveler's Clothes" and "Traveler's Shoes." The first village he discovers has already been attacked by bandits, with only a few surviving children remaining.
