About "Like" for "Me"

Maeno didn't know the burning passion of longing, nor the painful thrill of excitement. It remained unchanged, whether in her relationship with "him" or in her life with "her." Yet, when she was able to find a warm feeling she could cherish. That sense of alienation she should have felt from not understanding "romance" was nowhere to be found anymore. ――This is a short story written about that kind of one particular form of "liking." I would be happy if this work could affirm the "feelings" of whoever happens to read it.
