The prosperous great nation of Capnos Kingdom. This country is home to a holy maiden who protects and guides its people. As a nation blessed with a holy maiden, it is renowned throughout the world, though her existence is kept secret. There exists a sacred sanctuary that ordinary people must never enter, a place forbidden to all. However, a boy falls into that place. The boy, Rio, meets a mysterious being named Cerie who claims to be the master of this garden. Cerie says she is bound by a mission that prevents her from leaving this garden. Yet, reluctantly granting Rio's wish to go outside... But it is not a simple desire, and the two, still so young, are torn apart. Rio makes a vow to Cerie, whom he leaves behind. "I will surely set you free from this place..." The meeting of these two marks the beginning of everything in this tale, and they are also the two who hold the fate of this nation in their hands.
