Pandemic Before

In a pharmaceutical company's research laboratory, Mikage Momose is an around-40 scientist devoted to developing a new drug for a rare disease. Before her, who has dedicated her entire life to research, appears Hina Sendo, an excellent new graduate. She is not only young and cute but also talented, an eyesore cherished by the men in the workplace. Although Mikage treats Hina coldly, for some reason Hina becomes attached to Mikage and starts bringing homemade lunches every day. Mikage, exasperated by Hina's advances, decides to scold her and follows her to peek into the changing room, only to be shocked. In Hina's locker, a shrine to Mikage has been created, decorated with empty bottles of drinks Mikage had consumed and secretly photographed pictures. Unable to hide her shock at the fact that her junior is a stalker, Mikage continues to avoid Hina afterward, but receives a warning from her boss and changes to a safer attitude. "Mikage-san is my god." That is Hina's catchphrase, but Mikage doesn't understand its meaning. When Hina succeeds in developing a new drug for a rare disease, the relationship between the two changes, and Mikage feels intense jealousy toward her junior. "I was supposed to develop that drug!" The drug Hina developed is an improved version based on the drug Mikage created ten years ago. Surpassing her past self was Mikage's lifelong wish, but of all people, she was beaten by her arch-nemesis junior. Following this, Mikage and Hina become estranged, but when the host mouse for the new drug escapes and bites a researcher, a pandemic breaks out. The people inside the research institute turn into zombies one after another, and Mikage and Hina are trapped in the laboratory by force. There, Hina reveals the truth about the "god."
