This is a rejected short story from a published book work. "His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Desires a Fortune Teller in the Inner Palace" (Beez Log Bunko) This is an episode zero-style short story for the above work. It is one of several short stories I wrote for the book's release that ended up being rejected. It seemed a shame to let it disappear entirely, so I've decided to make it publicly available in a different genre section for a while. I hope it might serve as a reference for those who will be writing short stories in the future (though it is a rejected work).
