The stage is a different world. In a turbulent era, humans and the demon race—a category of demi-humans—engage in fierce battles. In such a world, the protagonist, an adventurer named Shu, lived peacefully with orphans of demi-human races and nuns who had no one else to rely on. One day, a request comes to him from a nobleman called the "Holy Maiden." Her wish is the coexistence of demi-humans and humans. As Shu becomes involved with her ideals, he throws himself into the turbulent age. However, he harbors a secret he cannot tell anyone. The summoning of a hero, discrimination between different races, war issues—numerous difficult problems stand before him.
