Grey the Fairy Cat's Soliloquy

I am now traveling as Lai's companion. My name is Grey. Before I met Lai, let me tell you a story from 500 years ago. In a great forest far to the north, in the very north, there is a large fairy village. Only the villagers know the location of that village. It is protected by the guardianship of the World Tree. I thought that fairy village was everything. But from the elder's story, I learned that there was another world beyond the village. I can fly quickly. As for strength... I can use a little magic. I have more courage than the others. I am already 50 years old. An adult(?). I (still a child fairy cat) stepped out into the outside world, repeating encounters and failures. Yet this is the story of a fairy cat that never returned to the forest.
