A World Where At Least One Person Dies

The protagonist, Saito Takeo, is an introverted young man who, despite having a kind heart, struggles with interpersonal relationships and suffers from difficulties in his connections with those around him. His wish was to experience a happy romance and live an ordinary life like everyone else. However, Takeo's life begins to go drastically awry starting from his twenty-third birthday. Takeo discovers that his romantic interests differ from those around him, and he suffers from an unrequited love that cannot be fulfilled. He suppresses his desires through reason and dreams of ordinary romance, attempting to pursue a new relationship. However, certain circumstances come to light, and he realizes that this is an illusion that cannot be achieved. Takeo, having lost all hope in the world, gradually succumbs to madness and devises a certain plan in order to settle things with his own life and his unrequited love.
