Two girls, Ayaka and Mio, have been competing for first and second place at a prestigious all-girls academy. Born into prominent families with prosecutor fathers, the two grew up in similar environments and were expected to pursue careers as prosecutors. Trapped in a luxurious but cold large house—a cage—they were confined together. However, when they left home to attend university and began living together, the two found that their relationship, which had been nothing but rivalry, gradually began to change. This is a story of how two girls who escaped from an ornate and suffocating cage become lovers while remaining rivals.
