The Lifetime of a Half-Elf

Fialerain is a half-elf born between a demon and an elf. Shunned by her mother and rejected by both races due to being born between two incompatible species, she is also feared by humans. Seeking a place where she could be accepted somewhere in this world, she sets out on a journey. She meets a human hero, becomes part of his party, and gets caught up in the conflict between demons and humans. All the while, she struggles with the question of whether what she seeks lies ahead. The intersection of an eternal life and a finite lifespan—a single moment in time. That said, she is actually a child not yet ten years old, unfamiliar with human customs. If there are sweets, that alone makes her happy. Her traveling companions include a weak temple and a kindhearted but unlucky hero who is always short on funds. Their journey is sometimes lighthearted and sometimes heavy. A certain great personage from the demon realm once said: "Their journey? It's quite the extraordinary adventure, indeed."
