Emily is a commoner girl who runs a tea shop in a rural town. One day, a traveler named Alan arrives at Emily's shop. Alan had been condemned as the cause of the country's misfortunes and was banished from the royal palace, traveling from place to place. Alan takes a liking to Emily's tea and begins helping out at the tea shop. The two begin to develop feelings for each other. Because of his condemned past, Alan cannot confess his feelings to Emily.
