Luise was made to endure everything for 15 years with the reasoning that "you're healthy, so..." because her twin sister Roselia was born frail. However, Luise herself has no awareness whatsoever that she was being made to endure this. Eventually, from enduring too much, her life falls into danger, and an unintended comeuppance befalls her.
