I read a story where after "serves you right," exile to a convent was said to be a nuisance to the convent, and thought, wouldn't a demotion to commoner status also be a nuisance to commoners? So I wrote this. As the title suggests, a nobleman's demotion to commoner status is a punishment for them, and it never causes trouble for commoners. In other words, this is a story about the people who have to deal with the aftermath and struggle through it.
