"You'll have a white marriage with me" or "I will never love you" followed by doting affection has become somewhat of a standard trope these days. "If the current fiancé or current spouse ends up getting together [with the protagonist], I'd like the 'ex-lovers reunite' tag to be attached," it seems there's a certain number of readers saying this. However, for such stories, some romance writers are hesitant to attach the 'ex-lovers reunite' tag, questioning "Is this really 'ex-lovers reunite'?" or thinking "This isn't 'ex-lovers reunite' so I don't want to tag it." What would you think about attaching tags like 'emotionally bound' → 'relationship reconstruction' instead? Ultimately, whether or not to attach tags is the author's freedom. But if it could even slightly ease readers' distress or anger when they hit a "landmine!?" by mistake—wouldn't you consider tagging it as 'emotionally bound' → 'relationship reconstruction'?
