"It's you again, Sendou! That otaku T-shirt is seriously gross!" Before homeroom that morning, I—Yuma Sendou—was being teased as usual by Saya Hanazono, my childhood friend who laughed at the center of the class. To be precise, one of Saya's followers pointed at the anime T-shirt I was wearing and sneered at it, and Saya snorted in agreement. My favorite anime is "Magical Idol ☆ Étoiles." I'm especially a fan of Sae, a cool and beautiful idol. Today's T-shirt too was my lucky shirt, printed with Sae's signature pose. But apparently, it rubbed Saya the wrong way. You're thinking perverted things because the character's name, Sae, is similar to mine, aren't you!" It was a completely baseless accusation. Just because the character I happened to like had a name similar to Saya's, I'd been branded a "pervert" and bullied for it.
