Kasugai Wako has always been together with her childhood friend, Ogosori Machi. Machi is bad at studying, bad at sports, and clumsy at everything, so Wako spends her days frantically keeping up with her. She's finally had enough! One day, when Wako accidentally drops an axe into a pond on the mountain behind the school, a goddess appears and tells her that she grants better axes to the honest.
