Yamamoto Megumi, a second-year high school student, was confessed to by a classmate she had always liked. It was a false confession made as a forfeit game, but knowing this, she said yes to the confession. She thought that if she could date the person she liked, she would be happy even if the confession was a lie. She expected to be dumped immediately and laughed at, but instead of heartbreak, she finds herself being treated with care every day. Then one day, the other person, mistakenly thinking that Megumi is moving overseas, suddenly breaks down in tears begging her not to break up and to please marry him... A love story between an unexpectedly tough-minded heroine who is somehow enjoying their current relationship to the fullest, and a hopelessly earnest hero who completely struck out due to his overly serious nature.
