穂麦 In the city of Squeaid in a world of swords and magic, an alchemist lives on the outskirts. The alchemist's name is Yu Hiura. He is a being summoned to this world by a goddess whom he calls the "Unfortunate Goddess" in his heart. He was given the skills of a game that had one foot in the door of being a failed player, and has been assigned several missions. One of those missions is to accompany the Sage and her group to help defeat the Demon King.
