The troubled King issued orders throughout the kingdom and to its surrounding tributary states: To break the princes' curse, gather strong soldiers, wise magicians, and excellent princesses. Thus, five soldiers, five magicians, and five princesses were gathered for the sake of the unfortunate princes. Before those who had been gathered, the King spoke to the princes: "I shall give each of you one soldier, one magician, and one princess. Use what you are given wisely, overcome the curse, and whoever demonstrates excellence shall become the next king." The princes each chose a soldier, a magician, and a princess, and began their struggle to break the curse. "So I'm the biggest loser among these five princes." This is the story of the third prince Yule, despised as the child of immigrants, who works together with the leftover soldier, knight, and princess to break the curse placed upon him.
