Parsley of Spring Announcement (or: Spring-Announcing Parsley)

The girl Seri, who had no magical power in her village, was suddenly sent to marry into a neighboring country on her fifteenth birthday, without being given proper details. A young man named Den, the second son of the Messen family, saves Seri when she is attacked on the journey. Den tells Seri, "You are my wife." Though given an escape route with "You don't have to marry if you don't want to," Seri chooses to become Den's wife, and their life in the forest begins—— A story full of familiar tropes.
