A female vampire named Rouge, aware that she had lived uselessly long, possessed a beloved prey that reminded her of the joy of living. She had raised it tenderly, calling it "Baby," and intended to savor it—but unfortunately, the prey was stolen by savage hunters who came to slay her. That prey, given the name Kuraice, grew into a beautiful woman while Rouge could only watch helplessly, and against all odds, became a hunter searching for Rouge. Spending her days in this amusing yet frustrating manner, Rouge watched over Kuraice as she worked dangerously as a hunter from the shadows. All for the future when she could finally savor her.
