"Potion, save my life" or "Potion, come to my aid"

Yakumo Kaede, a high school student protagonist, woke up in an unfamiliar land inhabited by beastmen and monsters. He has no memory of the moment just before waking up, but finds a mysterious book inside the backpack he brought with him. Using the potion recipes written in it, he manages to survive. While hoping to return home someday, he spends his days surprisingly busy. Note: This is being written on impulse, so please overlook any inconsistencies, plot holes, or awkwardness in the settings.
