The Lost Object of a Broken Girl

I am... dead. But I have something I'm looking for. If I do, then I won't die. Unless I find what I'm searching for, I am not permitted to die. A girl continues searching without understanding the reason. Until she finds what she's looking for, even if she dies, she is reborn as someone somewhere else. She continues an aimless journey without knowing where it is or what it is, and arrives at the truth... but what is it? This is my first post, so there may be typos and omissions, but!
