The title says it all! This is a short story in two parts (upper and lower). Maribelle, whose only redeeming quality is her combat ability inherited from her father, shields a desperate emperor at the cost of her own body and beheads the evil dragon that the emperor couldn't defeat. While bedridden from the poisoned wound she received in doing so, the reality that awaits her upon recovery is that her stepsister, using holy power, saves the emperor from his crisis and becomes his bride. But that's not all—Maribelle is falsely accused of attempting to kill her stepsister and faces execution on the guillotine. However, it is the emperor himself who objects to this fate... A story aimed at an unfortunate heroine seizing her happy ending, complete with some well-deserved comeuppance!!
