The Inelegant Sake Brewing Struggles of a Magic Nobleman

This is a story set in a world where magic determines one's social status. Ark, a boy from a mid-ranking magical noble family, is a dropout who cannot use magic even at age 14. Anxious that he will be branded as incompetent and demoted to commoner status if he cannot use magic by his coming-of-age day at age 15, Ark finally succeeds in learning magic with the help of his friends. That magic is called "Sake Brewing Magic"—magic that allows one to create alcohol, just as the name suggests.
