The Demon King, stronger than anyone and more merciful than anyone, and my best friend, lived quietly in the Demon King's Castle without troubling anyone. However, seeking the throne of the Demon King, the demon clan under the Demon King's command betrayed him and conspired with a hero party blinded by wealth and fame. They launched an assault on the Demon King's Castle to defeat the Demon King. The Demon King easily defeated the traitors and the hero party, but due to his kindness, he showed them mercy. Taking advantage of this, the Demon King and I were imprisoned in the space between time. The Demon King used forbidden magic to escape the space between time, but the price was great. He job-changed from a gallant man with a compassionate gaze to a lovely girl as delicate as a doll. Moreover, the world we emerged into from the space between time was completely different. The world we arrived at was what you'd call modern day. Smartphones, right? They're incredible. In this new world, the Demon King developed a fragile mentality. Feeling dejected about becoming a girl, he declared his retirement as Demon King. In this world, he expressed that he wanted to live quietly, peacefully, and without making waves.
