Yoshikazu takes his own life after suffering massive gambling losses. In the afterlife, he meets the goddess Foldé. Hoping to abandon the modern world and be reborn as a hero in a world of swords and magic, Yoshikazu is given the body of a hero who was on the verge of defeating the Demon King.
