Touching the Stars

In the distant past, there was a girl with power great enough to be called a "goddess." Beautiful and kind-hearted, it was said that whenever she smiled, bumper crops would follow, and whenever she danced, blessed rain would fall. Even after her death, the "goddess" was enshrined, but as time passed, faith in her waned, and she was completely forgotten. Half a century has since elapsed. In modern times, Saegusa Madoi and Kotohara Sayori meet at a university in Tokyo and become friends. The two deepen their friendship by visiting each other's homes and enjoying tea at cafes together. One day, Madoi learns about the goddess by chance and begins to wish to recreate her. Where will Madoi's wish lead, and what will become of her relationship with Sayori? Proofreading: Ashina Saku
