With her unsociable and gloomy personality, she is whispered about behind the scenes as the "Black Lily Witch." Her fiancé, Felix Niphrit, comes from a lineage of knights and possesses both good looks and a fine character—he seems far too good for Alice. That is, except for how he trembles at Alice's magic like a reaction comedian. One day, Alice loses to Felix's insistent pressure and is forced to attend a party she never wanted to go to. There, she is surrounded by young ladies who harbor resentment toward her without cause and is condemned before everyone—but then: "By the way, aren't all of you the ones who are cursed? Since it's a seed you sowed yourselves, please don't rely on me." A story of an unsociable protagonist feared and avoided by everyone, and her fiancé who always watches over her warmly (or does he?).
