The Matter of a Child's Winter Vacation Essay Being Too Much of Science Fiction

On January 8th, as a third-grade elementary school teacher, I collected winter break essays from my students. While reading through them, I came across an essay from a boy who had spent an incredibly fantastical summer vacation, and his writing had taken a wild turn into the realm of science fiction. This is a story about a strange winter occurrence—a tale of a teacher reading through these essays while unable help but point out the absurdities.
