Three old friends with a rotten bond—Aketo, Kazuki, and Hiroshi—are transported to another world when their school bus crashes during a field trip. Along with their classmates, they gain enhanced physical abilities and so-called cheats upon arrival in this world. However, only Aketo fails to gain physical enhancements and receives a cheat that falls into the useless category. Looked down upon even by the country that summoned them, on their first day of training, the three are suddenly attacked by a horde of monsters, and Aketo goes missing. This becomes the turning point where the gears of their friendship begin to turn in completely different directions. This is a story of how three friends with a rotten bond each walk their own path.
