Like a typical template, the protagonist Kakeru is suddenly summoned to another world one day and asked to defeat the Demon King. Kakeru, who surprisingly agreed to the request with enthusiasm, set out as a hero with great confidence, overcame numerous hardships through his inherent good luck (or bad luck, as some would say), honed his combat skills along the way, and finally reached the decisive battle with the Demon King that he had been aiming for.
