In the summer of Showa 20, Kure, where there was a naval base, became a burned wasteland due to a massive air raid. I took the hand of the only surviving superior officer's son and boarded a train to begin our life together...... In Hiroshima during World War II, what tragedy awaited the two of us who quietly harbored feelings for each other? It is a tragic romance, but not merely a sad story. This is a work submitted to the 'Midsummer BL Short Story Contest' hosted by fujossy. The intimate scenes are only subtly suggested.
